Selection Process :

• Please note that this prescribed qualification is the MINIMUM requirement and the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for written test. 
• Based on the performance in the Written Test, candidates will be short-listed for interview, the schedule and venue of which will be notified. Written test is only a first level screening and written test score will not be considered for final selection process. 
• Final selection will be based on the performance of the candidates in the Interview and those who secure minimum 60% marks in the interview will be eligible for consideration for empanelment in the selection panel, in the order of merit.

Description :

• Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software including operating systems, compilers, networks, utilities. Determines hardware compatibility.

Responsibilities : 

• Codes and programs enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including operating systems, compliers, networking, utilities

• Executes established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code; identifies, logs, and debugs assigned issues.
• Develops understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development.
• Participates as a member of project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately-complex products.

Qualification :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent

Experience  : Minimum 0-2 years experience

Knowledge and Skills :

• Experience or understanding of software systems design tools and languages.
• Good Operating Systems concepts & system programming skills – threads, networking, drivers
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Understanding of design for software systems running on multiple platform types
• Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures
• Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
