Job Title : Intern - VP IP Design and Verification

Experience : 0-1 Yrs

Qualification : 

• Mtech student with good academic background from reputed institution (IIT/REC/RVCE/reputed university/college). 
• Should be available on site for one year project duration minimum 3 days a week for first six months. 
• Followed by this next six months possibly 5 days a week. E & C / CS is preferable. 
• Should have good analytical and programming skill set. 
• Programming in C and C++ is must. Hands on SystemC programming language is a plus.

Job Description :

Virtual Platform IP design and verification, release. Shall understand specification of the Intel Mobile chipset identified IP, develop the IP using programming language SystemC , develop test bench environment , test cases. Shall independently verify the developed IP, provide technical presentation to the lead on IP design, verification coverage, test results. Should have good analytical and programming skill set.Strong digital design skillset must. Programming in C and C++ is must. Hands on SystemC programming language is a plus.

To enhance the skills of Scheduled Caste(SC) / Scheduled Tribe(ST) candidates of Andhra Pradesh state and empower them to participate in IT development community, the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Ministry of communication & Information Technology (MCIT) Govt. of India has initiated and is actively supporting the programme on High skill training in IT for SC / ST Students. Center for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), the premier R & D organization of the Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and IT, Government of India, is one of the institutions, in line with its R&D strengths, that will train students under this scheme at its Hyderabad Centre. The training programmes have been designed to prepare the students so that they reach and join the IT development community. Center for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), the premier R & D organization is one of the institutions which has been entrusted by DeitY, to empower SC & ST candidates for employment opportunities in IT. Under this scheme, the training programmes are being imparted to the students to enhance their skills in IT and empower them to participate in IT development community. Location: Bangalore, India

Role :

The primary focus of this role is on industrial R&D concerning controls & optimization, system identification and dynamical state and parameter estimation for a diverse set of engineering applications. Responsibilities include conceptual development, modeling and simulation, design, testing, validation, and implementation of algorithms and platforms for controls, optimization, estimation and system identification.

Responsibilities :

Qualification :

- Ph.D. degree with a specialization in one or more of the following areas: Controls and Optimization, Estimation, System Identification. Candidates with a Masters degree will be considered under exceptional circumstances.

- Basic degree in an engineering discipline - Mechanical/ Aerospace/ Electrical/ Chemical or equivalent.

Strong proficiency essential in one or more of the following areas: Control system design - Linear, Nonlinear, Adaptive, Robust, Model Predictive, Distributed, Large-scale, Multivariable; Optimization - Dynamical, Real-time, Online, Large-scale, Robust; Estimation - Kalman filtering, Advanced recursive methods, Moving Horizon, Distributed, Data Reconciliation; System Identification - Black-box/ Grey-box, Linear, Nonlinear, Online, Real-time.

Strong proficiency in technical computing languages and dynamical simulation environments such as Matlab, Simulink or equivalent is essential.

Skills :

Proficiency, strong exposure to, or experience in one or more of the following areas will be highly desirable: Software development (C/C++, FORTRAN, etc.), Domain-specific simulation environments (Aspen, ADAMS, COMSOL, GT-Power, etc.), Embedded control platforms, Hardware-in-the-loop simulation.
