MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIRED :
- Matric
- ITI with 02 years Course plus one year training (as per II No.32 of NCWA-VI)
- LT permit under Indian Electricity Rule for mines or 440-550 Volts Mining Parts Permit issued by Competent Authority applicable for coal mines.
Desired :
“Candidates having HT permit for cable joining and overhead lines issued by the competent authority applicable to Coal mines and/ or Electrical Supervisory Certificate valid for mines will be given preference.”
AGE LIMIT:
Candidates must not be below 18 years and above 30 years of age as on 03/03/2014 i.e. the last date of submission/ receipt of application (online- offline) in MCL office .
AGE RELAXATION :
- For SC/ST Candidates: 05 years
- For OBC Candidates (non-creamy layer only): 03 years
- Age relaxation to Ex-Serviceman shall be given as per rule.
HOW TO APPLY :
- Before applying, the candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility for the post for which they intend to apply.
- There are two modes of submission of the application, i.e. On-Line or Off-Line.
- Eligible Candidates can apply in any one of the mode.
- However candidates are encouraged to apply in On-Line mode only.
CAREER GROWTH :
- Selected candidates will be placed in Cat.III on daily wages of Rs. 636.77/- as per NCWA-IX and then will be under training for one year in the company.
- The trainees in Cat.III will be regularized in Cat.IV/ Cat.D after successful completion of one year training in E&M/Excavation cadre.
SELECTION PROCESS :
- The Selection methodology will comprise of written test and interview. The candidates short listed in the written test shall only be eligible to appear for interview.
- Written Test : Eligible candidates will be required to appear in written test at any one of test centers. Exact schedule of written test will be displayed on MCL website (www.mcl.gov.in) in due course.
- Interview : Candidates short listed on the basis of their performance in the written test will be called for interview and the intimation will be given to the candidates through registered post and e-mail.
