Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited is a Power Generation Company of erstwhile Gujarat Electricity Board having Power Stations at different locations with installed capacity 5508 MW. GSECL offers a challenging and rewarding carrier to young and dynamic Graduates in the disciplines of Electrical, Mechanical, C & I and Civil through GATE 2014 score. The Board vide its resolution No. 130.15.2048 dated 25.09.2013 has resolved to have 80% of the total new recruitment on the basis of GATE score.

• The candidates meeting with the following qualifications shall submit on-line applications.
• The selected candidates shall be appointed initially for the period of two years on fixed remuneration, after completion of satisfactory service of 02 years will be appointed as regular Junior Engineer in the pay scale of Rs.17300-38610.

Remuneration :

• Upon Completion of 02 years successfully, to be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 17300-38610 and will carry gross remuneration at the present rate of DA of Rs. 34,800 approx.

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

• Work experience of Operation & Maintenance of PET bottle blower
• Trouble shooting if problem of working machine & Maintenance of plant.
• Proactively identifying areas of obstruction/breakdowns by conducting failure analysis & take steps to rectify the same through application of trouble shooting tools.
• Planning and implementing various breakdown/ preventive maintenance schedules of various machines to increase machine up time/ equipment reliability; thereby accomplishing planned targets.
• Responsible to handle (Troubleshoot) all kind of electrical power/control panels, Electronic Sensor Technology, AC Drives application (On ABB, BCD, Delta, Allen Bradley & BCH make), Pneumatics, Electrical Power/Control, PLC Network Wiring.
• Closely monitoring cost of production, process losses.
• Ensure effective preventive maintenance of various equipments & spare management to reduce downtime.
• Candidate must have knowledge of quality aspect of raw material & finished products.
• To ensure effective capacity utilization of plant & machinery.
• Good communication & Co-ordination skill with internal & external department.
• Co-ordinating all activities as per ISO system

Desired Skills :

• Candidate should be first class Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Instrumentation & Control. 
•  Experience working in SAP/ERP shall have an added advantage.
