Responsibilities :
- Analyze, design and implement different modular components as per business and technical needs.
- Work on both server-side and UI-side modules.
- Work with architects, systems analysts, project managers, QA and other developers to successfully implement business requirements.
- Work with cross functional teams, such as QA team, Development, IT to drive better engineering solutions and maintain existing products.
- Author functional specifications and design documents
- Initiate to ensure on-schedule delivery and provide mentoring to fellow team members
- Identify opportunities for further enhancements and refinements to standards and processes
- Communicate solutions and ideas clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications :
Required skills :
- BE/MSc in Computer Science (or equivalent)
- In-depth experience in core J2EE technologies and frameworks.
- In-depth experience in Web 2.0 technologies
- Experience in working with relational database such as Oracle, mySql.
- Excellent oral and written communication and personal/interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle.
- Highly detail-oriented and excellent time management.
- Passion in developing/programming and debugging commercial grade software.
Desired skills :
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Knowledge of Hibernate, Spring, REST methodology and different open source third party tools.
- Familiarity with open source frameworks such as Hudson, JUNIT, Eclipse.
