The Engineering & Geo-Sciences posts through GATE-2016 were notified vide Advt. No. 6/2015 (R&P) on 19 th September 2015 in Employment News and ongcindia.com. In the advertisement, it was conveyed that details about number of posts will be announced at the time of inviting the online applications.
Those who have applied for GATE-2016 for recruitment to the posts notified in the said advertisement need to apply online for the posts in ONGC. However, they need not pay any registration fee.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit :
- For AEE(Drilling/Cementing) : 28 years
- All other posts : 30 years
- Geologist, Geophysicist, Chemist and AEE (Reservoir) : Post graduate in concerned discipline.
- All other posts : Graduate in concerned discipline.
SELECTION PROCESS:
- GATE score : 60 marks
- Interview : 15 marks
- Qualification : 25 Marks ( 20 Marks for Essential Qualification & up
to 05 marks for additional in line higher qualification)
Note : Only GATE-2016 Score is valid for the recruitment exercise in ONGC under this advertisement. Score from GATE-2015 or from any previous GATE examination is not valid.

- Candidates can apply for one post only even though they may be eligible for more than one post.
