Job Description : 

This is an Application Support Analyst position. The individual will be working in JMPChase Mortgage Banking Technology applications. Responsibilities include maintaining multiple applications. This position is very hands-on and requires a strong ability to adapt to challenging problems and an intense desire to work as part of a cohesive team.

Major Responsibilities :

• Performing direct support of applications within the Mortgage Banking Technology space
• Creating and executing SQL queries to diagnose problems and provide resolution
• Working with end users to determine root cause of production issues
• Participating in disaster recovery events
• Partnering with peers and collaborating with other technical leaders in the firm, within and outside of MBTI
• Align team goals with those of Mortgage Banking IT & Business.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience
• Excellent technical and analytical skills
• Strong oral and written communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels within the organization
• Proven track record of taking initiative and delivering results
• Experience working within large technology environments and supporting applications preferred

Technology Skill Set :

• Oracle
• .NET experience a plus
