Indian Army invites graduates and Ex-service men as officers

JOB DESCRIPTION

Applications are invited from gainfully employed young men for an opportunity of donning the uniform and serving the nation as Territorial Army Officers, based on the concept of enabling motivated young men to serve in a military environment without having to sacrifice their primary professions. You can serve the nation in two capacities – as a civilian and as a soldier. No other option allows you such an expanse of experiences.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

• Only male citizens of India and Ex-service officers who are medically fit. 
• Age : 18 to 42 years as on 30 JUN 2014. 
• Qualification : Graduate from any recognized university. 
• Employment : Gainfully Employed in Central Govt/Semi Govt/ Pvt Firm/ Own business/Self Employed.
• Date of written Exam : 10 AUG 2014.

HOW TO APPLY

All desirous civilian candidates can obtain APPLICATION FORM, from EMPLOYMENT NEWSPAPER or download from www.indianarmy.gov.in (FREE OF COST) and send it along with self addressed stamped envelope of 28 x12 cms size, two passport size photographs and postal stamps worth Rs.12/- (Rs. 25/- for J&K) affixed on envelop (NO OTHER COST FOR SUBMISSION) to the respective TA Group Headquarters as per the area.

EMBODIMENT FOR TRAINING 

• One month basic training in the first year of commission. 
• Two months annual training camp every year including the first year. 
• Three months Post Commissioning training within first two years at IMA Dehradun. 

Syllabus :

• PART I : Short Essay.
• PART II : Objective type question on General Awareness includes issues related to Political / Economical affairs, International Situation and Sports.

SELECTION PROCEDURE :

• Candidates whose applications forms are found correct will be called for screening (written exam and interview), by a Preliminary Interview Board (PIB), at the respective TA Group Headquarters.
• Successful candidates will further undergo a Service Selection Board (SSB) and Medical Board for final selection.

Note : Serving Employees of Armed Forces/Police/Para Military Forces are not eligible

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) recruitment notification 2014 for Class IV staff

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reserve Bank of India, Patna Regional Office, invites applications from eligible candidates to fill up 11 (Eleven) posts of Security Guards (01 Scheduled Tribe, 03 Other Backward Caste, 07 Unreserved).

Name of the post : Security Guard

Eligibility Criteria :

1. Minimum Std. X pass Maximum Undergraduate
2. Should be an Ex-service man

Pay & Allowances : 

• Initial starting pay of Rs.6550/- + ASP Rs.170/- in the scale of 6350 – 220(4) – 7230 - 260(3) – 8010 – 300(3) – 8910 – 400(2) – 9710 - 500(4) – 11710 – 680(3) –13750 (20 years). 
• Total monthly emoluments at the current rate of allowances will be Rs.15545/- pm. (approximately) 
• Pay Scale is due for revision w.e.f. November 01, 2012

Selection process :

• Selection will be made through written test and / or interview of eligible candidates. 
• Candidates found suitable will be placed in the waiting list to be prepared subject to vacancies and reservation requirements.
