Job description :

• The position's primary role involves testing of network performance monitoring applications.
• In this position you will be expected to have quick learning ramp up with minimal hand holding. You will have access to all training documentation, user/developer guides and the product software which are required for learning the application.
• Job involves interacting with offshore customers in Europe and US

Job requirements :

• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent reading comprehension and ability to follow instructions
• Knowledge of networking concepts, NMS, LAN/WAN, VLANs, Routing, Networking, etc. is a plus
• Highly driven and motivated self-learner
• Team player who approaches work with a cheerful attitude

• Knowledge of Linux/Unix is a plus

Required Skills:

-Should be CCNA Certified.

-Should have understanding on both LAN & WAN technologies

-Strong in vendor management.

-Knowledge of TCP/IP, GRE, IPSec, PPP, HSRP, and SNMP protocols

-Knowledge of transport technologies like MPLS,Should be well versed with the routing protocols like BGP, EIGRP etc.

-Candidate should be willing to work in 24x7 rotating shifts

• Knowledge of various ticketing systems, including Remedy,  USD; also including external vendor ticketing systems for the monitoring of AT&T, Sprint, etc. actions during network events.
