Roles :

We are hiring Engineers at all levels (entry level to senior positions) for the Adobe Marketing Cloud tech team. 
There are primarily two types of roles

Front End/ Client Side - Requirements :

  • BTech/ MS in Computer Science or related fields or extensive software development experience
  • Strong understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 design principles and techniques and demonstrable experience in building world-class, consumer web application interfaces

Desirable to have the following skills :

  • Understanding and experience in the J/S frameworks like Backbone.js, Underscore.js, JQuery among others.
  • Grounding in the Fluid UI design skills utilizing CSS and grasp of cross-browser compatibility issues.
  • Understanding of the UI designs principles and best practices for different screen sizes for Mobile devices
  • Agile Web application development and usage of the frameworks like Jasmine and/or Selenium
  • Working knowledge of Git, JIRA and Maven
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) preferred

Back End/ Server Side - Requirements :

  • BTech/MS in Computer Science or related fields or extensive software development experience
  • Should have excellent computer science fundamentals and a good understanding of architecture, design and performance
  • Develop highly available and high traffic systems and REST services that run 24x7 with minimal downtime, load balancing, failure detection and failover options.

Desirable to have the following skills :

  • Comfortable with machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, discrete algorithms. 
  • Working knowledge of Git, JIRA and Maven
  • Familiarity with OSGi, Sling based web app development, J2EE
  • Experience with Solr, Hadoop, Lucene, large scale data processing hosted in Amazon AWS (specifically S3, EC2, EBS) is a plus

As part of the Adobe Marketing Cloud team, you will work on problems such as
  • Build the next generation cloud based rich media management system capable of handling Exabytes of storage
  • Design and build cloud scale image and video processing systems
  • Big Data analysis and Machine Learning algorithms to predict user behavior based on thousands of variables
  • Develop algorithms to crawl, analyze, classify and curate web-scale data – processing millions of web pages and extracting interesting pieces of information
  • Develop algorithms and systems to utilize the crawled and curated content to build the next generation ecommerce search engine
  • Design and build systems to manage over a billion social conversations. Develop algorithms to learn and predict social sentiment based on these conversations
