Qualification : BE / B.Tech (Computer Science) or MCA.
Experience :
Two years experience with PHP, RDMBS (Mysql, MSSQL Server), HTML, CSS and Javascript and experience with web designing and office tools.
Age : Below 30 years
Salary : Rs.20,000/- per month (inclusive of all)

ASI is looking for a person with computer software background for their office to maintain and develop their website.
Terms & Conditions :
- The selected candidate will exclusively work for Astronomical Society of India and tenure of the appointment is for a period of TWO YEARS.
- The above position is not a regular employment and does not entitle any privileges or benefits of regular employment. It is purely on temporary / contract basis.
- The salary of the Engineer Trainee will be borne by the Astronomical Society of India.
- The candidates attending the interview will not paid TA.
- The Institute reserves the right to cancel the entire recruitment process at any time without assigning any reasons whatsoever.

The Astronomical Society of India (ASI) was established in 1972 and in the past
thirty two years has grown to become the prime association of
professional astronomers in India. The objectives of the society are the
promotion of Astronomy and related branches of science in India. The
Society organizes scientific meetings, publishes a quarterly bulletin
and supports the popularization of Astronomy and other similar
activities. The office of ASI is housed in the campus of Indian
Institute of Astrophysics, Koramangala, Bangalore–560 034.
