Job Description
Quintiq is looking for an experienced Mobile Solutions Architect to be part of our global development center. Mobility is changing the way our consumers and businesses operate. In order to stay competitive in today’s marketplace, we need to have a consistent and strategically led approach to mobile solutions. You will lead a team of developers and contribute to the development of our mobile framework. This is a visionary role, focusing on how to leverage on existing Quintiq software architecture and define mobile strategy for the company. You and your team will be in the position to deliver real value to Quintiq users and stakeholders.Department & Supervisor
You will lead the newly formed mobility team, the forming of which you will be partly responsible for. You will report directly to the local director.
Location
This role is based in Quintiq’s Global Development Center, Kuala Lumpur. You will be expected to work with and provide support to colleagues and customers around the world.
Type of Employment
This is a full-time permanent role. You will be confirmed following a three-month probation.

Responsibilities
- Manage a team of mobile solution developers
- Drive mobile technology architecture and infrastructure design
- Be aware of and work with all new technologies in mobile and related spaces
- Define mobile application development standards and guides for development of native, web and/or hybrid enterprise mobile solution on heterogeneous mobile platforms (iOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows, etc.)
- Contribute to Quintiq software roadmap to extend mobility support
- Manage prototype and proof of concept requests
Desired Skills & Experience
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years’ IT experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in designing mobile solution architecture and frameworks
- Thought leader with the ability to manage developers
- Experience in reviewing and supervising mobile design components
- Experience in integration of mobile solutions with existing enterprise systems
- Established background in building and managing reliable cross-platform (iOS, Blackberry, Android and Windows Mobile), native and web-based mobile solutions and have such software operate reliably at a large scale
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in client-facing roles a plus
