BEL hiring Second class BE/ B.Tech freshers as Contract Engineers / 15th July 2013

Bharat Electronics Limited, India’s premier Navaratna Defence Electronics Company requires TWO Contract Engineers for a period of ONE YEAR for the project being implemented at HYDERABAD by PROJECT AND CONSULTANCY DIVISION of Components SBU, BEL Bangalore unit.

QUALIFICATION : 

Second class in BE/ B.Tech (Electronics & Communication, Electronics, Telecommunication) from a recognized University/ institution.

EXPERIENCE : 

  • 0-1 year experience is desirable. Knowledge of computers is essential.
  • One year Graduate Apprentice training completed in a relevant field will be considered.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

  1. Survey of 221 signals locations and 20 VMS locations.
  2. Installation and Commissioning of Vehicle Actuated Solar Traffic Signals at 221 locations.
  3. Installation and Commissioning of Variable Messaging Signage’s at 20 locations.
  4. Establishment of Traffic Command Centre (TCC) and Cyberabad Control Room (CCR).
  5. Establishment of connectivity between TCC and signals, TCC and VMS and TCC and CCR.
  6. I&C of IT & Non IT Components at TCC and CCR
  7. Coordination with vendors and customers.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS :


  • Age : Less than 25 Yrs as on 01.07.2013. 
  • Reservation : Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates will be as per Govt rules. 
  • Remuneration : An all-inclusive consolidated remuneration of Rs. 12,000/- per month. 
  • Period of contract : One year from the date of joining, however the same may be extended depending on the progress of the project and performance of the candidate. 
  • Method of Selection : Selection will be through written test (objectives type questions) and shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Selected candidates have to execute a bond to serve minimum period of one year
  • Candidates please bring the following certificates in ORIGINAL for verification and a photocopy of each for our records along with filled in application format. 
    1. Documents in support of your educational qualification (i.e. marks statements (all semesters / years) Degree Certificate or Provisional Degree certificate, Post Graduate Degree Certificate. 
    2. Date of birth certificate (SSLC/SSC Certificate / Marks card). 
    3. SC / ST / OBC / PWD Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format.
    4. Certificates / testimonials relating to work experience. 
    5. Two recent passport size photographs. 
    6. Any other certificates / testimonials you may desire to place before the selection committee. 
    7. Candidates who have not completed BE / B Tech. need not apply. Those who are unable to produce their Degree marks cards and certificates in original on the day of the written test / interview for whatever reason will not be considered. 
    8. Local candidates with knowledge of local language will be preferred. Only Indian Nationals need to apply. 
    9. Candidates meeting the above criteria should mail the filled in application format in the format attached to hrcomps@bel.co.in on or before 15.07.2013. 
    10. The list of candidates shortlisted for written test/interview will be published in BEL website 
No TA DA will be paid for attending the written test/interview. BEL reserves the right to debar/ disqualify any candidates at any stage of the Selection Proceedings, for reason whatsoever. Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification. If large number of suitable applications received, only required number of candidates will be called for test, since the number of posts are limited.
