JOB DESCRIPTION
Syndicate Bank is one of the oldest and major commercial banks of
India. It was founded by T M A Pai, Upendra Pai and Vaman Kudva. At the
time of its establishment, the bank was known as Canara Industrial and
Banking Syndicate Limited. The Bank invites applications for the following lateral vacancies.

- Deputy General Manager (Risk Management) : 01 Post
- Deputy General Manager (Chief Economist) : 01 Post
- Deputy General Manager (Training) : 01 Post
- Asst. General Manager (Information Technology) : 01 Post
- Asst. General Manager (Law): 01 Post
- Chief Manager (Corporate Communication) : 01 Post
Qualification :
- Deputy General Manager (Risk Management) : Any postgraduate preferably Mathematics/ Statistics or Any CA, ICWAI or Any Engineering Graduate with FRM qualification or any PG/ Diploma course on Risk management CAIIB is desirable.
- Deputy General Manager (Chief Economist) : Doctorate or PG in Economics & MBA Finance– CAIIB desirable.
- Deputy General Manager (Training) : MBA, PhD in any area in HR.
- Asst. General Manager (Information Technology) : BE/ B.Tech. Additional qualifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, Project Management Certification, MBA-IT/ Systems, will be given preference/ weight age.
- Asst. General Manager (Law) : Postgraduate/ Graduate in Law. Qualification as a Company Secretary would be an added advantage.
- Chief Manager (Corporate Communication) : Degree in Mass Communication/ Journalism from a recognised university. Candidates with MBA qualification will be given preference.
