Job Summary


Assists supervisor and department with clerical, minor administrative and business detail work.

  • Composes routine correspondence including e-mail and faxes.

  • Organizes and maintains file system filing correspondence and other records.

  • Answer supervisor's telephone calls and arranges conference calls.

  • Coordinates supervisor's schedule and makes appointments.

  • Greets visitors and directs to appropriate area or person.

  • Arranges travel schedules and reservations.

  • Compiles statistical reports.

  • Coordinates meetings, reserves and prepares facilities and may record and transcribe minutes.

  • Copies correspondences and other printed materials.

  • Prepares outgoing mail.

  • Orders and maintains supplies.

  • Arranges for equipment maintenance.
Qualifications :

  • High school diploma preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience; entry level position for those incumbents without experience.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and other software as required by division.

  • Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.
