About the Role:
Candidate will be working as a Senior Technical Specialist with McAfee Labs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary Responsibilities include design, development, unit test, as well as debugging and bug fixing.
- The role is as a part of a high caliber team that operates using modern development and agile delivery methodologies.
- Interaction with Anti-Malware research teams to ensure the solution is capable of dealing with contemporary and evolving threats.
- Self-motivated with the ability to stretch in times of need.
Qualifications
Required Experience / SkillsExperience:
- 8-12 years in Software Development with emphasis on security
- Fluency in one of C, C++, Java with knowledge and understanding of one of Python, Perl
- Experience designing, building and supporting large-scale distributed systems in a production environment
- Knowledge of operating systems (user/kernel-mode)
- Knowledge of networking and Internet protocols (eg. TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, FTP)
Education:
BS (Computer Science or scientific discipline). MS is a plus.
Desirable
- Experience in malicious code analysis and reverse engineering (RE)
- Strong hold of a variety of modern programming languages and open-source technologies (Linux, Mongo DB, Hadoop)
- Experience in Information retrieval and Machine learning, large-scale analytics systems, or any high throughput and highly available systems, is a plus
- x86 assembler experience, both 32 and 64 bit
