Applications are invited from Unmarried Male and Female Indian Nationals
possessing educational qualifications and age, as prescribed below, for selection
as Junior-Engineer for six months Shipboard Training.
Educational Qualification:
Four Year Degree in Marine-Engineering (B.E. in Marine-Engineering /B.Tech. in Marine-Engineering
/B.Sc. in Marine Engineering) from Directorate General of Shipping
(DG), OR AICTE Approved Engineering College.
At the time of Personnel Interview, candidate should be in possession of Original
valid documents like:- SSC/HSC Passing Certificate which indicates D.O.B and 50% marks in English language
(Either 10th or 12th standard.)
- Four Year Degree Certificate in Marine-Engineering (B.E. in Marine-Engineering /B.Tech.
in Marine-Engineering /B.Sc. in Marine Engineering) with minimum 50% marks
in final year.
- MEO CL IV Part A Certificate (EXN-45).
- Valid Passport (PP).
- Valid Continuous Discharge Certificate (CDC).
- INDOS No Certificate,.
- Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.
- STCW Certificates with STSDSD.
- Tanker familiarization courses certificates (Oil/Chemical/Gas).
- Endorsement certificates.
- Police Clearance Certificate.
- Caste Certificate for reserve category candidates (as per format available on our
website (www.shipindia.com/career).
- Caste Validity Certificate etc.
- Passport size photograph – 10 nos.
Candidates with sailing experience as Junior-Engineer will not be eligible for
Shipboard Training. Only fresh pass out candidates can apply. Lateral entry Candidates
only with Diploma in Marine-Engineering and then completing BE/B.Tech/BS in Marine-Engineering
are eligible for this training.
