State Bank of India invites on-line applications from Indian citizens for appointment in following Specialist Cadre Officers posts in State Bank Group.
Note :
- A candidate can apply for only one post under this project.
- The process of Registration of application is complete only when fee is deposited with the Bank through 0n-line mode on or before the last date for fee payment.
- Before applying, candidates are requested to ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria for the post as on the date of eligibility. Admission to on-line test will be purely provisional without verification of documents. Candidature will be subject to verification of details/documents when the candidate report for interview.
- Candidates applying for the post of MEDICAL OFFICER (PPMO) should sent copy of the print out of their online application along with copies of documents to State Bank of India as detailed under PARA 4(d).

- Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Economics.Assistant
- General Manager (Risk Analyst): 01 Post
- Qualifications: Postgraduate degree in Statistics Or MBA/ MMS/ PGDBA/ PGPM/ PGDBM (The course should be of 2 years full time duration. Courses completed through correspondence/ part-time are not eligible. The institute should be recognised/ approved by Govt., Govt. bodies/ AICTE).
- Chief Manager (Risk Analyst): 01 Post
- Qualifications: Postgraduate degree in Statistics OR MBA/ MMS/ PGDBA/ PGPM/ PGDBM (The course should be of 2 years full time duration. Course completed through correspondence/ part-time are not eligible. The institute should be recognised/ approved by Govt., Govt. bodies AICTE).
- Chief Manager (Company Secretary): 01 Post
- Qualification: Graduate with minimum 65%marks and Associate Membership of Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
- Permanent Part Time Medical Officer-I: 46 Posts
- Qualification: MBBS degree from a recognised university.
SELECTION PROCEDURE :
(a) ECONOMISTS (b) RISK ANALYST (c) COMPANY SECRETARY :
The selection of candidates will be on the basis of test and interview. The test will be conducted tentatively 0n 17th October 2014. (In case the number of applicants are less, Bank reserves the right to complete the selection through shortlisting and interview instead of through test and interview).The date of test will be uploaded on Bank’s website and also advised to the candidates through SMS and e mails. Candidates will be required to download the call letters. The test may be held at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, Patna & Trivandrum centres. The Bank, however, reserves the right to add or delete any centre and allot the candidate to any centre other than the one he/she has opted for.
For Economist :
OBJECTIVE TEST: ONLINE
- Test of Reasoning 50 questions - 50 marks
- Quantitative Aptitude 35 questions - 35 marks
- English Language 35 questions - 35 marks
- Professional Knowledge 50 questions - 100 marks
DESCRIPTIVE TEST : ONLINE
(candidates will be required to answer by typing on computer)

for RISK ANALYST & COMPANY SECRETARY
The test will be online objective test and the test pattern will be same as in the case of Economist. There will not be Descriptive Test for these post.(d) MEDICAL OFFICERS (PPMO):
