Job Description :

Responsibilities :

• Develops code for software projects, and design and implement bug fixes.
• Designs software projects.
• Defines software specifications.
• Performs software tests on code and enhancements.
• Troubleshoots software problems of moderate difficulty.
• Develops software documentation.
• Interfaces with internal customers for requirements analysis.

Job Specific Knowledge :

• Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
• Knowledge necessary to perform job includes general knowledge of software engineering concepts and techniques, thorough knowledge of relevant software languages, general knowledge of software development tools and environment, and may include general knowledge of real-time control concepts.

• MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent knowledge), and 0-2 years directly related experience.
• Preferred previous work experience includes software engineering with real-time control.

Job Title : Config Engineer-1201737

Qualification : BS in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline

Location : Bangalore

Responsibilities :

• Perform and document engineering test reports. 
• In support of design projects, coordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components/equipment and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve technical issues. 
• Generate related alpha/gamma documentation for product release. 
• Design or modify mechanical engineering layouts/schematics, and/or detailed drawings/specifications of limited scope under direct supervision. 
• Perform basic engineering analysis under direct supervision. 
• Troubleshoots a variety of mechanical problems. 
• Effective use of engineering processes in the resolution of mechanical problems of limited scope. 
• With supervision, establish task priorities. 
• May be responsible for the design, development and implementation of custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes to enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle.

Job Specific Knowledge

Limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts. Knowledge necessary to perform job include: basic knowledge of mechanical engineering design, mechanics and material science concepts and techniques, including thermodynamics, heat transfer, measurement control, stress analysis, Finite Element Analysis, and system integration; and exposure to CAD tools. 

Skills Required :

• Requires good skills in change management, problem solving, communication skills, customer orientation, product technology, personal effectiveness, team skills and quality.
• Requires knowledge of systems and software necessary to perform job function such as Lotus Notes, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Inventor, AutoCAD, Oracle BOM, and/or Oracle ECO.
