SCIENTE hiring experienced Technical Security Analyst / Singapore

Our client is looking to expand their Security Operations Team. They are looking for a Technical Security Analyst to provide infrastructure Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing services.

Mandatory Skill-set

Candidate must have the following skill-set:

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 5 years of IT experience in the Security & Operations Field;
Experience in Network Systems Security Architecture and devices such as Firewalls, VPN, AAA systems;
Good understanding of OS Security (eg: Unix, Windows, CISCO IOS, AD) and common protocols (eg: LDAP, SMTP, DNS, Routing protocols);
Analytical and good problem solver, able to articulate technical issues to a wide spectrum of audiences who may or may not be technically inclined;
Has good team spirit and the ability to work independently in a fast pace environment;
Has good knowledge of latest threats and technologies, especially in the areas of Web Application vulnerabilities and recent internet threats.
Keen to be accredited with various security certifications such as CISSP, C|EH, GCIA, GCIH, etc.

Desired Skill-set

Has some experience in web development and programming languages (eg: Python, Java, .Net, Perl, C/C++);
Experience in conducting Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing on application/infrastructure;
Knowledge of tools and processes used to detect/prevent common vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilties include, but not limited to:
Conduct testing on the security of critical infrastructure components and applications through comprehensive testing process, ensuring they comply with internal policies, security architecture best practices and industry standards;
Perform scanning and discovering of vulnerable systems (eg: hosts, network, devices) and applications;
Follow-up with respective owners on the actions to be taken from the Vulnerability Assessment outcome till all issues detected are remediated accordingly;
Identify weaknesses and vulnerabilities within the systems and proposing/implementing countermeasures;
Involved in compliance and controls, self-assessment processes and documentation related tasks; 
Attend to security incidents and adhere to Incident Management when required.
