- In this position, you will be a member of the Test Content Improvement team under the VPG group in Bangalore. This group will deliver an optimized set of test content to enable Component Debug (CD) and High Volume Manufacturing(HVM) for Intel's graphics product.
- You will be responsible for the design and verification of the latest Intel graphics products.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to :
- Coming up with test cases using to plug the low coverage logic area identified by understanding the micro-architecture and data flow of the design
- Analysis of Pre-Silicon Functional Fault Grade coverage data at unit, cluster and/or full chip level and working closely with the RTL/Validation owner to identify new tests to improve fault coverage, implementing, running and debugging tests, filing and maintaining bug database etc. You'll interact with a team of the brightest minds in graphics technology, hardware, and software engineering.
- You'll cultivate a deep understanding of the entire graphics pipeline, knowledge you'll use to push the edge of technological innovation ever further.
- This is a growing group offering opportunities to develop skills in Test writing, design, Product Development, Test Engineering and Debug.
Additional qualifications include:
- Sound understanding and/or knowledge of logic design, functional verification and micro architecture
- High level Register Transfer Level (RTL) language such as Verilog* or VHDL
- Knowledge of UNIX* and PERL*
- Fast learner and Good team player
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience with industry standard simulators such as Modelsim* and VCS* would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Perl* and ability to automate tasks with scripts would be an added advantage
- Familiarity with Graphics architecture including DFx(Design for Testability) would be an added advantage
