National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) is inviting applications for recruitment to the post of Assistant Manager / Dy Manager. The candidates can apply through prescribed format before 16th December 2013. The NMDC Limited is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel. It is involved in the exploration of iron ore, copper, rock phosphate, limestone, dolomite, gypsum, bentonite, magnesite, diamond, tin, tungsten, graphite etc. It is India's largest iron ore producer.

Age limit :

• Should not exceed 45 years as on 16 December 2013.
• Relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification :

• Mechanical : Candidates should have Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 60 % marks.
• Electrical/Electronics : Candidates should have Degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent with minimum 60 % marks.
• Finance : Candidates should be Graduate or a member of CA/CS with good academic records.
• Personnel : Candidates should be Graduate with Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Sociology or Social Work or Labour welfare or Personnel Management or MBA or equivalent with specialization in Personnel Management & Industrial relations.
• Mineral Processing : Candidates should have Degree in Mineral Processing Engineering or Metallurgy or equivalent with minimum 60 % marks.
• Chemical : Candidates should be Post Graduate in Chemistry or equivalent with minimum 60 % marks.

Pay Scale :

• Asst. Manager (E1): Rs.20600 – 3% – 46500.
• Dy. Manager (E2): Rs.24900 – 3% – 50500.

Selection Process :

Candidate will be selected on the basis of personal interview.

NMDC Ltd., a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India and multi locational, multi product and consistently profit making Mining and Mineral Exploration Organization with more than `11,000 crore turnover is in the process of massive expansion and diversification both in India and abroad. The Company is also setting up an Integrated Steel Plant at Nagarnar near Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh State. Qualification & Experience :

Sl. No.1. Mechanical : 

For the posts of Sr. Manager (E4) / Manager (E3) / Dy. Manager (E2) / Asst. Manager (E1): Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute. Should have post qualification experience as stated at III below with minimum of 5 years experience for E4 grade, 3 years experience for E3 grade, 2 years experience for E2 grade and 1 year experience for E1 grade in installation/ operation/ maintenance of Pellet Plant is essential.

Should have post qualification experience as stated at III below in PLC & field instrumentation of process plants with minimum of 1-2 years experience in Pellet Plant.
