Job Description :

Works as a Software Implementation team member on for-fee product implementations projects. Expertise and work efforts are primarily focused on configuring a proprietary EDI data quality and compliance software as a service product.

Responsibilities :

Candidate should be able to operate with minimal supervision on projects of varying size that potentially could include multiple products on multiple platforms. Deliver superior technical services for Professional Services implementations in accordance with GXS and Customers’ expectations and existing agreements.

Candidate should have a technical skill set. This role is responsible for working with the GXS business analyst to review business requirements and translate these into a configuration for the implementation.

Skills :

• Analytical skills and the ability to identify the root cause of issues
• Self motivated and ability to work independently
• Self learn tools and applications as per need to resolve issues
• Participate in the review of detailed technical designs.
• Understand and apply software development life cycle methodologies
• Experience with XPATH
• Experience with XML and XSLT
• EDI experience a plus
• JAVA programming experience a plus

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Must Have

• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
• 3+ years of experience in the design, development and deployment of n-tier enterprise applications using Java/J2EE on the US Banking domain.
• Expertise on technologies such as Servlets, MVC, JSP , Struts framework, Hibernate, Richfaces, JSF, SpringWorkflow , JDBC
• Proficient in HTML, Javascript, XML and XSLT.
• Proficient in SQL and Oracle or other Database systems.
• Excellent analytical, debugging and problem solving skills.
• Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to design, develop and test new enhancements using various J2EE technologies.
• Experience with JBOSS, Websphere or Weblogic

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Unix, MQ Series, and LDAP.
• Working knowledge of oracle 8i/9i, and PL/SQL
