Uttarakhand Gramin Bank (UGB) notification for recruitment of 206 bank clerks

JOB DESCRIPTION

Uttarakhand Gramin Bank (UGB) has invited online application from Indian Citizens, for the post of Officer in Junior Management (Scale I) Cadre and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) from Indian citizens who have been declared qualified at the Online CWE for RRBs conducted by IBPS during September/ October 2013. Candidates can apply online from 12.03.2014 to 28.03.2014.

Vacancy Details :

  1. Officer Scale-i : 49 posts
    • Pay Scale: Rs.14500-25700/-
  2. Office Assistant : 157 posts
    • Pay Scale: Rs.7200-19300/-

Total no. of posts : 206

Probation Period :

Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of 24 months in case of Officer Scale-I & for Office Assistant, it is 12 months.

ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility Criteria is to be considered as per RRBs CWE-II Advertisement published in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar Issue Dated 6th July – 12th July, 2013 released by IBPS and posted on the IBPS's website www.ibps.in.

Language Proficiency for Officer Scale-I :

Candidates are required to possess proficiency in the HINDI Language and must have passed “HINDI” as one of the subject at matriculation/ Xth Standard.

Pre- Requisite Qualifications : 

Candidates who have been declared qualified in the RRBs-Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS in September-October 2013 should have obtained the following scores as given in official notification.

Application fee (including postage/Intimation charges) non-refundable :
  1. Officer (Scale I)
    • Rs. 20/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
    • Rs.100/- for all others
  2. Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
    • Rs. 20/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates.
    • Rs.100/- for all others
  • Requisite Application Fee may be paid through CBS at any of the Branches Uttarakhand Gramin Bank, by means of a Payment challan available in the Bank’s website. 
  • The payment towards application fee through CBS can be made between 12-03-2014 and 28-03-2014.

HOW TO APPLY

Candidates are required to apply online through Bank’s website www.uttarakhandgraminbank.com from 12-03-2014 to 28-03-2014. No other means/ mode of application will be accepted. The Application printout along with the fee payment receipt and required copies of documents should be kept ready for submission if shortlisted for Interview.

IBPS CWE Clerks-III Notification / Last Date 7th September 2013

COMMON WRITTEN EXAMINATION [CWE] FOR 
RECRUITMENT OF CLERICAL CADRE IN PARTICIPATING ORGANISATIONS
(CWE Clerks-III)

Eligibility :

    • Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
    • Computer Literacy : Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.

Job Description :

The next Common Written Examination (CWE) as a pre-requisite for selection of personnel for Clerical cadre posts in the Participating Organisations listed below will be conducted online by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively in November/ December 2013.
Any eligible candidate, who aspires to join any of the Participating Organisations listed at (A) as a Clerk or in a similar post in that cadre, is required to register for the Common Recruitment Process- (CWE Clerks-III).
Candidates who appear and are shortlisted in the examination, will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and co-ordinated by IBPS. Depending on the State/UTwise available vacancies in Participating organisations, candidates shortlisted will be allotted to one of the Participating Organisations, keeping in view the spirit of Govt. Guidelines on reservation policy, administrative convenience, etc.
This system of Common Recruitment Process –common written examination, interview and allotment- for recruitment of Clerical cadre posts in Participating Organisations has the approval of the appropriate authorities. IBPS, an autonomous body, has received a mandate from the organisations mentioned at (A) below to conduct the recruitment process as mentioned above, once a year. Prospective candidates will have to apply to IBPS after carefully reading the advertisement regarding the process of examination, interview and allotment, eligibility criteria, online registration processes, payment of prescribed application fee/ intimation charges, pattern of examination, issuance of call letters etc. and ensure that they fulfill the stipulated criteria and follow the prescribed processes.

TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR GRADUATES IN JAMMU & KASHMIR AND RECRUITMENT FOR THE POSTS OF PROBATIONARY OFFICERS & PROBATIONARY CLERKS THE SPECIAL INDUSTRY INITIATIVE-JAMMU & KASHMIR SCHEME


  • Special Industry Initiative for the State of Jammu & Kashmir (SII-J&K) – Udaan aims at;
  • Skill development and employability of the youth in Jammu & Kashmir;
  • Unemployed residents of J&K who have done Graduation or above will be covered under this scheme;
  • A Residential Training Programme for Skill development will be conducted for the identified graduate youth of J&K, from amongst those enrolled for the training;
  • 300 Candidates will be shortlisted initially for Training based on academics / written test and /or interview, in co-ordination with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Govt of Jammu & Kashmir;
  • Duration of the training will be 3 months leading to a certification at the end;
  • Bank will be conducting selection process for successful candidates for recruitment to the posts of 135 Probationary Officers and 15 Probationary Clerks; and
  • The 150 candidates who came out successful in the selection process, post training, will be appointed in the Bank.
