Survey of India notification for recruitment of 117 Topo Trainees Type 'A' (T.T.T.'A')

Applications are invited from the Indian Nationals to fill up 117 posts of Topo Trainee Type 'A' in Survey of India at the GDC's/Directorate/Offices. Applications completed in all respects alongwith attested copies of certificates, mark sheets and testimonials duly signed and filled in the prescribed format should reach the Director of the concerned Geo-Spatial Data Centre/ Directorate/Offices on or before 21-02-2015. The applications received after the above date will be summarily rejected.

Name of the post Topo Trainees Type 'A' (T.T.T.'A')

No. of posts 117 (One Hundred & Seventeen).

Scale of pay : 

F 5200-20200 + 1900 Grade Pay together with DA and other allowances as admissible to Central Govt. employees during the period of training which is normally about 2 years. On successful completion of training they will be fixed in the scale of F 9300-34800 + 4200 Grade Pay plus DA and other allowances.

Place of work : 

The employment is with the liability to serve anywhere in the Union of India including military service with a mobilized Survey unit. Besides working in Office, the nature of work involves extensive field work in remote/far flung areas.

Educational Qualification : 

Candidates must have passed B.Sc. with Mathematics from a recognized University. The candidates must have good stereoscopic vision. The candidates possessing less than 45% for General Category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC in B.Sc. examination need not apply.

Age : 

The candidates must be between 18 to 27 years of age (18 to 32 years of age in case of SC/ST Candidates and 18 to 30 years of age in the case of OBC) as on the last date of receipt of applications. The upper age limit is also relaxable for retrenched Central Govt. employees/Departmental candidates/Ex-servicemen and other eligible categories as per rules.

Methods of Selection : 

Selection will be based on written tests in Mathematics, English, General Knowledge with Science to be held at the above Centers under overall supervision of requisitioning authority. Stereoscopic Fusion Test and personal interview will be conducted only in respect of those candidates who qualify the written test. The concerned Appointing Authority reserves the right to limit the number of candidates to be called for the interview by finding an appropriate cut off percentage of marks obtained by them in written test.

The Rehabilitation Council of India, a Statutory Body under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Department of Disability Affairs, Government of India invites applications in the prescribed format for engagement purely on contract basis in the National Board of Examination in Rehabilitation (NBER) from eligible candidates with relevant experience, initially for a period of 1 year which may be extended further depending upon the requirement.

Educational Qualification and Experience Required :

• 3 years’ experience in conduct of examinations in University/Recognized Educational Institutions or retired from University/Institution/Organization having experience in conduct of examinations.
2. Programme Officer 
• (i) Master’s Degree in Special Education/ Rehabilitation Science/ Social Work/ Rehab Psychology etc.
• (ii) Minimum 3 years post qualification experience in the area of Special Education/ Social Work/Rehabilitation including admission and examination.
• (iii) Must be registered with RCI or be eligible for registration in RCI
• (iv) Must be computer savvy with a good knowledge of computer applications
• (v) Good in drafting notes, report writing and publication work etc.
• (vi)Candidates with M.Phil/ Ph.D. in Special Education or any other Rehabilitation qualification approved by RCI/ Social Work/ Psychology and having experience in conduct of examination and related matters will be preferred.
• Or Retired persons having similar experience
3. Accountant 
• (i) Degree of a recognized University/ Institute
• (ii) 2 years experience in Cash, Accounts and Budget work preferably in a Government Office/PSUs/ Autonomous body/ Statutory Body/ Universities/ recognized Educational Institutions
• (iii) Candidates with B.Com/CA (Inter)/ ICWA (Inter) from a recognized University or Institutions with 2 years experience in accounts, knowledge of Tally, Bank reconciliation, receipts and expenditure etc. and with good knowledge of computer applications will be preferred.
4. Data Entry Operator, and Clerk
• (i)Degree from a recognized University or equivalent
• (ii)Diploma in Computer application
• (iii) A speed of not less than 8000 numeric key depressions per hour on a computer
• (iv)Candidates with experience in data entry work and computer application will be preferred
5. Clerk
• (i)12 th class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University
• (ii) Skill Test only on Computers: 
• English typing speed of 35 words per minute
• Hindi typing speed of 30 w.p.m.
• (Time allowed:10 minutes, 35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/ 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).
• (iii) Candidates having degree with minimum 2 years working experience in an office set up with knowledge in computer applications and noting/drafting will be preferred.
6. Multi Tasking Staff 
• (i) Matriculation or equivalent or ITI pass from a recognized Board or University
• (ii) Candidates having experience in the field and knowledge of computer will be preferred.
