Hardware Engineer required at IBM

Under guidance and supervision, the intern will be a member of the Engineering team, and as such, assist with the following activities…

• Work with IT product development teams on live projects in requirements gathering, project planning, programming and implementation

• Undergo specific training during the internship along with hands-on experience in SDLC.

Education/Experience/Skills Required:

- Education: Candidates must be currently enrolled in a college degree program,
preferably Master’s program and have an interest in software programming.

- Experience: Extensive experience in systems software or algorithms.

- Skills: Must have knowledge of programming in C,C++, Java. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly organised, self-motivated, take initiative and an above-average manager of time and resources. Multi-tasking, and exceptional attention to detail required. Professional dress/smart casual attire is required when at events/meetings.

Problem Solving/Judgment and Decision Making:

Intern will work independently on problems of limited scope where analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Must exercise
appropriate judgment within defined procedures/guidelines to determine solutions.
