Good in SCCM and SCOM with adequate experience as a member of the incident management team. To resolve moderate (P3 & P4) incidents effectively in a timely manner. To identify risks that impact quality and/or loss of service. To provide inputs of top issues to leads and also contribute on reports.
  • Good at any one Ticketing tool. Willingness to work in shifts. Willingness to stretch to support major issues / failures. Willingness to support during out of office hours through on call"
  • Should have 1 year of relevant experience on SCCM and SCOM. Should be good at previous versions of deployment and management tools. Should have 2 or more years of total experience. Good technical skills, server knowledge and an ambitious learner

Role :
The primary focus of this role is on industrial R&D concerning controls & optimization, system identification and dynamical state and parameter estimation for a diverse set of engineering applications. Responsibilities include conceptual development, modeling and simulation, design, testing, validation, and implementation of algorithms and platforms for controls, optimization, estimation and system identification.
Responsibilities :

- Basic degree in an engineering discipline - Mechanical/ Aerospace/ Electrical/ Chemical or equivalent.
Strong proficiency essential in one or more of the following areas: Control system design - Linear, Nonlinear, Adaptive, Robust, Model Predictive, Distributed, Large-scale, Multivariable; Optimization - Dynamical, Real-time, Online, Large-scale, Robust; Estimation - Kalman filtering, Advanced recursive methods, Moving Horizon, Distributed, Data Reconciliation; System Identification - Black-box/ Grey-box, Linear, Nonlinear, Online, Real-time.
Strong proficiency in technical computing languages and dynamical simulation environments such as Matlab, Simulink or equivalent is essential.


Skills :

Proficiency, strong exposure to, or experience in one or more of the following areas will be highly desirable: Software development (C/C++, FORTRAN, etc.), Domain-specific simulation environments (Aspen, ADAMS, COMSOL, GT-Power, etc.), Embedded control platforms, Hardware-in-the-loop simulation.

VMware needs Systems Engineer - Accelerate Advisory Services Job




Job Description :


The Systems Engineer- Accelerate Advisory Services will be responsible for configuring, deploying, and supporting Value Models (i.e., ROI/TCO financial models) for VMware’s global Accelerate Advisory Services program based on the IT Financial Management and IT Benchmarking products, which make up VMware’s IT Business Management Suite. He/she will work closely with Accelerate Advisory Services subject matter experts to ensure successful and on-time implementations of Value Models in the ITBM solution. The Systems Engineer-Accelerate Advisory Services will take part in various activities which will involve working with the ITBM product development team, global Accelerate teams, and others across VMware. In addition, he/she will take part in self-improvement and learning activities on an ongoing basis.

Duties and Responsibilities
Typical activities will include configuring, implementing, testing, and deploying out-of-the-box and tailored solutions on VMware’s ITBM platform to support the global Accelerate Advisory Services program, in alignment with relevant value modeling use cases.

Responsibilities:
- Quickly synthesizes Accelerate’s business needs and ROI/TCO use cases and creates appropriate solution blueprints
- Able to efficiently and effectively gather use case-related requirements from geographically dispersed individuals
- Develops and supports ITBM solutions that meet Accelerate's needs, by continually working with ITBM, IT Benchmarking, and other VMware product teams
- Proactively communicates solution details during all phases of the development cycle- Dev, Test, QA, Go-Live
- Develops productive and highly collaborative relationships with Accelerate Global team members
- Leads the implementation efforts to setup the VMware ITBM application for Accelerate use worldwide
- Main point of contact for initial deployment support for global Accelerate team members
- Liaison with Product Management to provide product feedback
- Create user manuals which document how to use the Value Models developed in ITBM
- Able to define and execute other processes which may be related to solution development and deployment, such as Requirements Definition, Solution Blueprinting, Conceptual Design, User Acceptance Testing, Solution Enablement, etc.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Requirements
Requirements:
- A Bachelor Degree as a minimum in one of the following disciplines: information systems, computer science, software engineering, and/or mathematics. Advanced degrees are not necessary however, they are considered a plus.
- Strong technical and analytical skills. Scripting or programming experience a plus.
- Strong understanding of basic financial and accounting concepts. Experience with financial solutions and financial processes a plus
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and effectively prioritize tasks
- Develops detailed task plans/technical approaches for projects
- Demonstrates effective time management
- Self motivated individual with a proven track record of accomplishment
- Strong team player
- Strong interpersonal skills
